IT Product Lead CS Management Experte (M/F/D)
Tasks:
is responsible for owning and driving the lifecycle management of the assigned SAP modules and Systems in scope, management of all changes, validation activities including documentation, external implementation and service partners.
must have a deep understanding of customer support and repair processes such as Case and complaint management, service order processing, warranty and contract handling, returns and repairs as well as customer interaction history.
act as the primary point of contact for business architects (BAs), shaping the demand pipeline, delivering solutions, and managing the change backlog.
involves gathering and prioritizing requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and ensuring alignment between business goals and IT capabilities.
facilitates discussions on solution design, implementation, and continuous improvement, working closely with other technical teams (e.g. Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects) and suppliers to maximize product value.
Technical Competencies:
Deep understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of IT products, from ideation and requirements gathering through development, deployment, and ongoing support.
Requirements Engineering: Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for IT teams.
Solution Architecture Awareness: Familiarity with IT architecture principles, integration patterns, and how products fit within the broader technology landscape.
Business Intelligence & Data Analysis: Proficiency in using reporting and analytics tools to generate insights, track product performance, and inform decision-making.
Process Optimization: Experience in identifying opportunities to streamline and automate IT processes, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
Risk & Compliance Management: Understanding of IT risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO, GDPR).
Agile & DevOps Practices: Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps principles to facilitate iterative development and continuous delivery.
Technical Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Vendor & Tool Evaluation: Experience in assessing, selecting, and managing third-party IT solutions and vendors.
Change & Release Management: Familiarity with change management processes and tools to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of IT solutions
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certification in agile methodologies is, depending on the assigned area, desired (not mandatory).
Specialized experience
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in IT product management, business analysis, or a comparable role.
Good knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, project management, and risk management.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Experience with product lifecycle management and agile methodologies such as SCRUM and SAFe.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Management experience
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver product goals.
Coordinate resources and manage competing priorities.
Make decisions on feature prioritization and timelines
