Logistics Specialist (M/F/D)
Tasks:
Manages distribution and logistics activities
Has a strong operational foundation in at least one area of D&L, but has the ability to operate across all distribution and logistics operations, with the ability to manage and take responsibility for the operational delivery of complex international shipments, replenishments, order to cash process for different distribution models customers
Works closely with global supply chain and PO&T functionsto ensure logistics execution
Manages FG shipments, invoicing, shipping deviations and sales & inventory reporting and regular issues resolution meetings with cross functional stakeholders (e.g. Finished Goods Planning, Quality, Commercial, Finance, S&OP, Packaging Engineering).
Routinely identifies and communicates any shipment risks to management, supports recommendations and implementation of corrective actions to minimize supply risks and works within the defined quality and compliance framework (f.e. SOX, GMP & GDP)
Monitors inventory levels and changing supply chain dynamics to anticipate and plan logistics activities, understands internal and external business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish own work
Analyzes cross functional and logistics processes and identifies/ implements solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of the supply chain
The goal of the role is to ensure desired customer service levels are met and to ensure continuous product supply.
Has a strong understanding of all distribution and logistics activities, and can provide introductory training in all D&L functions
