DevOps Product Owner (M/F/D)
Tasks:
Manage the DevOps Project Team: Inspire and manage the project team of a Scrum Master and several DevOps engineers. Maintain a DevOps backlog for the Scrum/Kanban team, ensuring that the most valuable tasks are the ones that get produced first. Continue the already started transition to product-centric and cross-functional team structure and promote effective communication and knowledge exchange.
Support Implementation Strategy: Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive DevOps product/tools/processes portfolio. The backlog is maintained through continuous contact with developers, operations, service, architects and others who provide input/feedback on what needs to be built.
Screen the market: Continuously share experiences/best practices and trends in DevOps with the group of DevOps engineers and establish resilient and future-oriented central solutions for all products within the program.
Monitor Performance and Progress: Drive continuous improvement, report on progress by means of existing metrics dashboards. Ensure increasing productivity and efficiency of production and development.
Qualification:
Professional Experience: At least 5 years in software development or IT roles with a strong focus on DevOps practices.
Product Owner Experience: A minimum of 2 years of product owner experience. Strong leadership and coaching skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with various teams.
Track Record in Leading a Project to Success: Ability to make critical decisions, prioritize tasks, and manage complex situations in a large organization effectively.
DevOps and Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), monitoring and logging, Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
Skills and Competencies: Experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Grafana/Prometheus, Kubernetes, Argo CD, VNET, Azure Cost Optimization.
Language: English business fluent, German nice to have
