Senior Python / AI Application Engineer (M/F/D)
Tasks:
Design and implement a scalable application architecture based on an existing Python solution.
Transform an existing technical prototype into a production-ready user application.
Develop a maintainable and user-friendly application that can evolve towards broader business usage.
Deploy and operate the solution within an existing AWS cloud environment.
Integrate with existing internal platforms, tools, and development standards.
Design and implement an AI-powered agent capable of translating natural language requests into validated application workflows where technically feasible.
Develop validation mechanisms, guardrails, and evaluation processes to ensure reliable execution of AI-generated configurations.
Ensure maintainability, extensibility, and high software quality through clean architecture and documentation.
Perform knowledge transfer and provide technical handover to the internal development team.
Qualification:
Several years of professional experience in Python software development.
Strong experience designing and developing cloud-native applications on AWS.
Solid knowledge of software architecture, API design, and scalable application development.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud operations.
Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, or Generative AI applications is highly desirable.
Experience implementing validation frameworks, AI guardrails, and workflow automation is an advantage.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with excellent communication skills.
Fluent English is required.
