After two years of the Corona pandemic, we launched our new event series with our first Connecting Day on April 20, 2023. The event aims to bring decision-makers, freelancers, and top speakers from the life sciences, business, sports, and law together in person.

To this end, we invited three top-class speakers. Thomas André Sola, General Manager at APSCo Germany, and Dr. Sebastian Buder, specialist attorney for labor law at Taylor Wessing, kicked off the event. Their presentation topics "Staffing companies as an economic factor, future driver & opportunity enabler" and "Compliance guidelines as a basis for the safe use of freelancers" addressed relevant topics in the industry. Numerous guest questions and comments led to an exciting exchange of ideas. As a special highlight of the evening, Deniz Aytekin, DFB Referee of 2022, presented new perspectives on employee management with his lecture "Emotional Leadership - Leading with Appreciation". Using analogies to the referee environment, he engaged the audience on various leadership topics with authenticity and humor.

Following the presentations, a flying buffet and drinks provided an opportunity to network with the speakers and other participants, make new contacts, and enjoy the evening in good company and a pleasant atmosphere.

We are already looking forward to the next Connecting Day.
