On 11 May 2026, we held our 8th Connecting Day – an evening that once again brought together people from the life sciences industry and provided a space for inspiration, networking and new perspectives. Clients, partners and freelancers took the opportunity to gain new insights and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
Following the official welcome by the K-Recruiting team, the evening kicked off with a special highlight: the keynote speech by Jakob Lipp. The author, motivational speaker and Top100 speaker in the DACH region captivated the guests with his talk "Mindset for Success – The Power of Our Thoughts".
With great authenticity, humour and practical examples, he impressively demonstrated just how much our thoughts and our inner attitude influence our personal and professional success.
A key theme of the talk was the call to have "moments of courage” more often. Jakob Lipp encouraged the guests to be more aware of opportunities, to step outside their comfort zone and to actively embrace change.
In doing so, he made it clear that personal growth often begins precisely where uncertainty arises. Courage takes effort to muster, but it opens up the possibility of personal growth and overcoming new boundaries.
The image of the ‘emotional front garden’ was particularly striking. Jakob Lipp explained how important it is to be mindful of which people we let over our "garden fence" and how each of us must decide for ourselves what our own ‘garden’ should look like.
The topic of successful communication was also given ample attention in the keynote speech. It is only through a combination of storytelling rather than mere facts, non-verbal communication and the ability to listen actively that we can achieve the best possible results in this area.
The guests were given numerous practical insights that can be directly applied to their everyday working lives.
Following the keynote speech, the focus of the evening shifted to personal interaction. Over Italian antipasti, delicious pinsa and refreshing drinks, guests networked, discussed and laughed late into the evening.
The relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect setting for making new contacts, strengthening existing relationships and reflecting together on the ideas raised in the presentation.
The 8th Connecting Day once again demonstrated just how valuable personal interaction, inspiring talks and strong networks are. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all our guests, and in particular to Jakob Lipp, for this special evening full of motivation, positive energy and new perspectives.
