Manufacturing Technician
Role Overview:
Supports USP, DSP, and IPC operations through equipment handling, calibration, material readiness, sample management, and GMP‑compliant activities to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing processes.
Tasks:
Conduct Single‑Use Assembly checks.
Execute column buffer exchange activities.
Perform harvest filter deinstallation.
Operate autoclaves (loading, cycle execution, unloading)
Complete material checklists and ensure consumable availability.
Notify BPE of missing chemicals or discrepancies.
Conduct ethanol aliquotation under GMP and safety guidelines
Support dispensing activities
Perform inoculation area and room cleaning (GMP‑compliant).
Execute buffer drainage with DSP teams.
Deliver samples to QC/IPC and other areas.
Complete accurate GMP documentation.
Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Qualification:
Apprenticeship/technical diploma in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Lab Technology, or Pharmaceutical/Production Technology.
Solid understanding of GMP and cleanroom operations.
Ability to follow SOPs and batch records in English.
1–3 years in pharma/biotech/chemical manufacturing (USP or DSP preferred).
Cleanroom experience (Grade C/D or higher).
Hands‑on experience with any of the following:
Bioreactors
Media/buffer prep
Chromatography systems
UF/DF
Autoclaves/sterilization
GMP documentation and deviation reporting experience is an advantage
Fluency in English or German, both preferred
