OEM – Operational Excellence Manager (M/W/D)
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across a manufacturing site by fostering a robust Operational Excellence (OE) culture. Work closely with site leadership to implement Lean principles, accelerate performance improvements, and ensure sustainable process excellence.
Tasks:
- Identify performance opportunities and drive improvement projects aligned with key operational KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Engagement, Cost).
- Collaborate with leadership teams to design and execute strategic improvement plans.
- Promote Lean standards and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coach teams and leaders on Lean tools and methods such as PDCA, VSM, DMAIC, and Kaizen.
- Maintain and sustain OE systems to ensure long-term stability and performance.
- Contribute to digital transformation efforts by assessing gaps and supporting tool implementation.
- Apply structured change management to facilitate smooth adoption of new practices and technologies.
Qualification:
- Proven experience leading strategic performance or process improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and data-driven problem-solving.
- Solid business understanding with the ability to interpret financial or operational indicators.
- Experience or strong interest in digital tools and transformation initiatives.
- Skilled in coaching and facilitating cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in German; English proficiency is an advantage.
- Background in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement preferred.
