Reliability Engineer (M/F/D)

 

Tasks:

  • Improve equipment reliability, critical systems, and maintenance processes using reliability engineering principles.

  • Develop and optimize maintenance strategies, plans, and preventive maintenance SOPs based on equipment/system importance.

  • Ensure the effectiveness of maintenance programs through accurate work instructions and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA), FTA, and RCFA to address equipment failures.

  • Own and manage CAPAs related to equipment reliability, including audit responses.

  • Inspect and analyze damaged parts, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with engineering and production to develop solutions.

  • Implement predictive maintenance programs to detect failures at early stages.

  • Identify “Bad Actors” and prioritize equipment based on performance and hierarchy.

  • Evaluate PM extension requests, provide technical justifications, and approve when appropriate.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report equipment performance, trends, and key metrics.

  • Demonstrate the success of reliability improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, CMMS master data, and ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and industry regulations.

  • Define and maintain spare parts lists (EPL), BOMs, and stock levels.

  • Conduct functional equivalency assessments for spare parts.

  • Participate in the evaluation and development of technical suppliers and maintenance service providers.

  • Coordinate with production, quality, and safety teams to align installations and operations with requirements.

  • Support capital projects as needed.

  • Provide training on reliability concepts, troubleshooting, and skill development for technicians and operators.

  • Ensure availability of OEM manuals, vendor drawings, and technical documentation.

 

Qualification:

  • Knowledge of a GMP environment

  • Operationnal maintenance methods

  • English and French speaking & writing

  • Knowledge on CMMS system (JDE, SAP..)
