Technical Sales Manager (M/W/D)
Aufgaben:
Managing and responding to inbound customer inquiries, while actively identifying and developing industrial markets worldwide, with a particular focus on Europe.
Conducting research and networking to discover and pursue new business opportunities, driving acquisition efforts.
Developing concept studies using thermodynamic simulation tools and providing expert technical advice to clients.
Partnering with engineering and product development teams to relay customer insights and support continuous product improvement.
Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to shape effective sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Representing Heaten at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, building brand awareness and expanding your professional network.
Supporting the automation of customer journey processes to optimize the sales experience.
Qualifikation:
A master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a related field (e.g., SEPM, UTRM).
Fluency in English (minimum B2 level); additional proficiency in French, Spanish, or Dutch is highly desirable.
At least 5 years of experience in application engineering or a highly technical sales environment.
A strong understanding of thermodynamic cycles and refrigeration principles, ideally with a background in heat pump technology.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, analyze data, and propose innovative solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Willingness to travel (up to 30%) and availability to work from our Remscheid office at least two days per week.
