RnD Technical Leader (M/W/D)
This role is a senior R&D position focused on leading technical activities for disposable kit products within a regulated life sciences environment. The position sits within a multidisciplinary R&D team and emphasizes sustaining engineering rather than new product development. The role involves managing product changes, ensuring compliance, and maintaining product performance throughout its lifecycle. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers is central to success.
Tasks:
Lead sustaining engineering initiatives and oversee technical changes across the product portfolio.
Manage change control processes, including impact analysis, risk assessment, and documentation updates.
Coordinate verification and validation activities to support product and process modifications.
Drive lifecycle management activities such as obsolescence handling, supplier changes, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with quality, manufacturing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure compliant implementation.
Qualifications:
Degree in mechanical, biomedical, materials engineering, or a related technical field.
Several years of experience in product lifecycle management or sustaining engineering within a regulated industry.
Strong knowledge of quality systems, design controls, and industry standards.
Experience with disposable systems, plastics, or single-use technologies is advantageous.
Solid problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, and communication skills; fluent in English.
