IT Finance/Controlling Expert (M/W/D)
Tasks:
Collaborate directly with the Infrastructure team to understand cost drivers related to IT infrastructure services
Develop and implement a standardized Excel-based template for budgeting and forecasting IT expenses
Analyze historical IT cost data to identify patterns and support forecasting assumptions
Align financial structures with IT service components (e.g., infrastructure, hosting, licenses, support)
Work closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to validate budget logic and forecasting methodology
Ensure the template is scalable, user-friendly, and suitable for recurring budgeting cycles
Support documentation of assumptions, calculation logic, and usage guidelines
Provide recommendations to improve transparency and consistency in IT financial planning
Qualification:
Strong background in Finance, ideally with a focus on Controlling or IT Controlling
Proven experience working in close collaboration with IT teams, preferably Infrastructure teams
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex formulas, and data structuring
Experience in budgeting and forecasting IT-related expenses is highly desirable
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Ability to work independently in a freelance/project-based environment
