Senior Tech Transfer Project Manager (M/F/D)
Tasks:
Serve as the Tech Transfer Project Manager and primary point of contact, linking the Global Process Owner and Sending Unit teams with the Brazil local Project Management team
Ensure effective execution, communication, and timely escalation across local and global stakeholders.
Lead a cross-functional team of technical experts (multiple locations)
Identify resource needs to support project activities; align resource allocation with global and local sponsors
Provide clear visibility of short-, mid-, and long-term deliverables
Develop detailed activity plan, define and monitor KPIs for deliverables
Support the development of integrated project schedule in alignment with the endorsed execution strategy
Track and document changes to the established TT strategy; obtain endorsement for strategy changes
Schedule and organize hands-on activities at the Receiving Unit; support the team’s readiness
Organize regular project review and technical meetings with the Sending Unit and global teams
Establish and maintain the project risk register; develop and track mitigation strategies
Collaborate with key stakeholders (Quality, product operations, Supply Chain, Network Strategy, Sending Unit leadership team) to provide project inputs and develop strategies to minimize project impact
Report project status, risk/issue and proposed mitigation to Global/local leadership team (Dir/VP level).
Qualification:
BSc or MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a comparable discipline
Demonstrated expertise in managing large, international projects and/or programs
Proven experience collaborating with external partners
Strong CMC/tech transfer (TT) expertise, preferably in large molecules
Proven experience defining and implementing project execution strategies across Quality, Supply, Procurement, and Manufacturing within applicable legal and regulatory frameworks
Strong knowledge of common project management tools/platforms (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet
Project management certification preferred
Cultural openness: open-minded with strong communication and interpersonal skills; adaptable to working in a global environment.
Open to travel (Brazil, US,…)
Fluent in English and French; Portuguese is a plus.
