Logistics Coordinator (M/F/D)
Role description: Plans and executes tasks related to logistical processes in the area of reference sample management as well as shipment orders (global shipping) at site level. Acts as a point of contact for the project team for logistics-related requests.
Tasks:
Execution/organization of global shipping orders for pharmaceutical products in an officially regulated environment
Carrying out sample preparation (aliquoting)
Manage the inventory of reference substances (electronic and physical) on behalf of the analytical laboratory in centralized facilities
Adherence to cost, quality, quantity and schedules for all assigned tasks
Delivery according to the appropriate quality standards, ensuring compliance with systems, equipment and processes
Contribute to digital initiatives as a subject matter expert (optional)
Work in accordance with the relevant SOPs, GMP, GLP, QM, HSE, ISRM & Novartis guidelines
Use of complex tools/equipment, laboratory automation tools, and specialized facilities
Contribute to increasing efficiency and productivity when working on assigned projects
Creation of raw data documents for handover to internal and/or external customers
Review and/or approval of documents in one's own area of responsibility in accordance with current processes
Main contact person (local representative of a global team) for internal customers in their own area of responsibility
Guidance from colleagues. Acting as a mentor (if applicable)
Qualification:
At least 3 years of successful professional experience in the field of global shipping logistics. Additional knowledge in the field of analytical development or manufacturing is an advantage.
Good knowledge of software and computer tools. Mastery of quality principles (GMP, ALCOA+).
Completed vocational training (e.g. dispatch planning/pharmaceutical development/logistics in the GMP area) or equivalent.
High organizational knowledge and independent work (management experience is an advantage).
English must have - German nice to have
