Mechanical Designer (M/W/D)
The Mechanical Designer contributes to the development and lifecycle management of complex products within a regulated environment. The role focuses on creating and maintaining precise mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with quality and manufacturing standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the position supports both new product development and ongoing improvements.
Tasks:
Develop and update 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and related technical documentation for components and assemblies.
Perform tolerance analyses and ensure designs meet functional, manufacturing, and assembly requirements.
Manage design updates through structured engineering change processes, including BOM and documentation revisions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support product enhancements and issue resolution.
Contribute to electromechanical designs, including cable assemblies and associated documentation.
Qualifications:
Degree in mechanical engineering, product design, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
Several years of experience in product design within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices preferred).
Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools (such as SolidWorks) and experience producing manufacturing drawings.
Good understanding of GD&T, tolerancing, and product data management systems (e.g., Windchill or similar).
Organized, detail-oriented, with solid communication skills and the ability to work in international teams.
