Data BA – Product Owner (M/W/D)
Data / BI Business Analyst responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications, working closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver complex reporting solutions in a fast-paced project environment.
Tasks:
Partner with business stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document requirements
Translate user requirements into detailed BI functional specifications (tables, fields, transformation logic, visualizations)
Collaborate with source system experts (SMEs) to gather technical data logic
Work closely with developers during design, development, and testing phases
Answer functional and data-related questions from technical teams
Prepare test scripts and define test data requirements for technical testing
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist business users
Ensure accuracy and completeness of requirements and specifications
Handle complex data models and ensure correct design from the start
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across different systems (EMEA reporting scope)
Work independently to find solutions and meet tight project deadlines
Qualification:
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, dynamic, and highly structured way of working
Experience with BI tools and data platforms (Power BI is a strong plus)
Ability to understand and work with complex data models
Experience in complex, fast-paced project environments
Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
Strong problem-solving skills and autonomy
Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
