Plant Engineer (M/F/D)
Tasks:
Act as the primary technical contact (SME) for Bulk Production area equipment.
Provide expertise in systems and equipment such as Bioreactors, UFDF filtration, Chromatography, CIP/SIP systems, process piping.
Lead or support equipment/plant design, installation, commissioning, and qualification projects.
Conduct technical investigations, resolve recurring issues, and propose modifications or continuous improvements.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, GEP, SUVA/ASIT, and engineering and safety standards.
Organize and coordinate preventive and corrective actions, and equipment optimizations.
Support internal and external audits as a technical system expert.
Develop and apply engineering procedures and company standards across site, division, and corporate levels.
Lead the Obsolescence program for technical installations.
Participate in cross-functional site-wide projects and contribute technical expertise.
Assist the NFA project team with execution of protocols and documentation review.
Support management of punch lists and troubleshooting during the project phase.
Qualification:
BS or MS in Engineering (Biotechnology, Mechanical, Chemistry, or Food Process Engineering).
Minimum 7 years of experience in Pharma/Biotech (Process Engineering and/or Manufacturing).
Proven experience with process equipment (bioreactors, filtration, chromatography, CIP/SIP, autoclaves, process tanks, etc.).
Familiarity with PLC/automation systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley) and utilities.
Strong knowledge of Good Engineering Practices, cGxPs, FDA, ISPE, ASTM2500 & ASME/BPE standards.
Fluent in French and English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
Strong problem-solving and technical learning skills.
Hands-on and team-oriented mindset with agility to work in a fast-paced environment.
