Senior Data Engineer & Business Intelligence Consultant (M/F/D)
Tasks:
Enhance and extend existing data pipeline architectures by integrating new data sources.
Design, develop, and optimize curated data models for scalable analytics and reporting.
Industrialize existing proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions by transforming Python-based prototypes into production-ready data pipelines.
Develop and optimize interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
Configure and manage MLflow for model tracking, versioning, and lifecycle management.
Design, orchestrate, and monitor robust data pipelines, workflows, and scheduling processes.
Build and optimize data preparation layers to support high-performance Power BI reporting.
Improve query performance and optimize reporting data models for scalability and efficiency.
Implement automated testing and quality assurance processes to detect data drift and ensure reliable data ingestion.
Establish metadata governance, maintain data catalogs, and implement appropriate data classification standards.
Manage deployment, release, and operational support of developed data solutions.
Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including data models, implementation guidelines, and example queries.
Configure and validate Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure secure access to reporting data.
Translate complex analytical results into intuitive dashboards and business-oriented visualizations.
Support knowledge transfer and enable internal teams to independently maintain and further develop the solution.
Qualification:
Several years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Business Intelligence Consultant.
Strong expertise in Python-based data engineering and modern data pipeline development.
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Power BI, and cloud-based data platforms.
Experience designing scalable data models and optimizing reporting architectures.
Practical knowledge of MLflow, workflow orchestration, and production deployment of data solutions.
Strong understanding of metadata management, data governance, and data quality assurance.
Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and enterprise reporting solutions.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and collaborative software development practices.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Fluent English is required.
