Digital Laboratory Systems & Data Visualization (M/W/D)
Support the digital transformation of laboratory environments by implementing and optimizing laboratory systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN) and developing data visualization solutions that enable scientists to access, interpret, and act on experimental data more efficiently.
Tasks:
Implement and maintain digital lab platforms such as LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and ELN (Electronic Lab Notebooks).
Collaborate with scientists to understand workflows and translate them into digital solutions.
Design and develop dashboards and visualizations (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire).
Integrate data from multiple sources (instruments, databases, cloud systems).
Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across systems.
Support automation of data capture and reporting processes.
Provide user support, training, and documentation for lab systems.
Work with IT and data engineering teams on system architecture and data pipelines.
Qualifications:
Degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or related field.
Experience with laboratory systems (LIMS, ELN) in pharma/biotech environments.
Strong data visualization skills (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Python).
Familiarity with data handling (SQL, Python, or similar tools).
Understanding of laboratory workflows and scientific data.
Ability to translate business/scientific needs into technical solutions.
Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
