Senior Specialist Controlling (M/F/D)
Tasks:
Complete and control month-end closing activities with Accounting Standards, Consolidation Accounting, Manufacturing, Transfer Pricing, Tax and Cost of Sales and Inventory teams
Collaborate with other teams in the company including Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Management, Internal Control, Direct tax, VAT and Treasury
Cooperate with the Global Delivery Operations in Lisbon and Kuala Lumpur (for Asia Pacific) to execute on agreed deliverables and processes
Propose innovative solutions to simplify and automate current processes (various projects on going / in future)
Support the finance team in Singapore
Work closely with the Tax team for income tax reporting, including deferred tax calculation and tax forecast
Understand complex collaboration agreements to ensure correct accounting treatment
Oversee payroll accounting including expat and inpat recharges
Account reconciliations (Blackline tool) review and identification on open items to resolve
Participate in the Clearing House processes for the Research and Development recharges and Ex-US Management Service Fee recharges
Ensure accurate inventory balances at the end of each month working closely with the Cost of Sales and Inventory team (COSI)
Work closely with the Transfer Pricing team to ensure that profitability adjustments to achieve the target profit of the Inventory Hub are accurate
Ensure accurate Fixed asset and Intangible asset accounting
Manage the Statutory and Tax ledgers
Preparation of the annual report for Swiss GAAP and Singapore IFRS reporting
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
Calculation of the Entity Profitability and Forecast
Continue to meet S404 Requirements, updating documentation and improving controls on Inventory, Accounting to Reporting (AtR) and OTC (Order to Cash)
Qualification:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting and at least 8 years of demonstrated experience in an accounting and/or finance role in a corporate environment
Expert in accounting and financial reporting
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Presentation skills
Proven ability to work closely with leaders of other teams in the company
Demonstrates understanding of US GAAP and Swiss GAAP and applies them appropriately to ensure the financial integrity of the business and financial statements
Adheres to the highest standards of ethical behavior in all interactions; comply with all laws, policies and regulations; identify and address ethical issues without hesitation
